Over the years, I’ve patched my computer several times before installing a new one. Simply overlapping the canvas and sewing up the seam with fishing line and a dab of rubber cement over the top worked perfectly for the bottom vinyl part. It’s been 15 years since then! After treating it with some spray-on weatherproofing, I just went to the local fabric store and asked for assistance with the hefty canvas.
