Campsites cost $15 per night, with the exception of some rustic sites at Glimmerglass and Cherry Plain, which are $12 per night. Cabin Base Rate: fluctuates based on the number of people in the cabin. When you cancel your reservation, it is crucial to understand that the earlier you cancel, the less money you will receive as a refund.

More About Watkins Glen State Park

As of October 12, 2021, the following is the most recent update: The rim trails (north and south) at Watkins Glen State Park are now open and will stay available throughout the year. In addition, the parking lots will be kept in good condition throughout the fall and winter. The gorge path will close for the season of 2021 on October 24, 2021, with a reopening anticipated in mid- to late-May of the following year. As of today, the camping grounds in the State Park have been closed. Campers interested in coming to the Watkins Glen KOA in the fall are encouraged to contact the campground directly.

For our tourists who are looking for waterfalls, we recommend that they look for year-round road-side waterfalls.

This park, which is located at the crossroads of Main Street and Mother Nature, was just named the number one park in New York State by Conde Nast Traveler.

SWIMMING

After a day of climbing and exploration, a refreshing dip in the Olympic-sized pool is a welcome relief. In addition to your $8 car entry charge, you will also receive free admission to our swimming pool.

PAVILIONS

Watkins Glen State Park offers four pavilions that may be reserved in advance and rented out on a daily basis. The East Pavilion, West Pavilion, Loggia Pavilion, and Iroquois Lodge are among the structures on the grounds. You may get the reservation form here (which includes fees and conditions).

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

There are two trails that accept dogs: the South Rim Trail and the Indian Trail. In addition, you must have the certificate with you. Dogs are not permitted on the Gorge Trail in order to ensure the safety of all visitors.
