• It must be anchored in the grass before it can be used. The tent is supported by three (3-part) center poles (11’6″ high) and twelve (2-part) perimeter poles (7′ high). It takes around 45-90 minutes for 2-3 persons to put up

All Purpose Tents MUST BE set upstaked in Grass.An additional 5’ is required on each side for staking. Sidewall is available for an additional fee. Cooking is NOT allowed underneath tent.

Clients are responsible for contacting Gopher State One Call at 811 (or by clicking here) at least 48 business hours in advance to arrange for public utilities to be marked (gas, cable, electric, etc). Private utilities (sprinklers, lighting, gas grills, etc.) are the responsibility of the property owner, who is also responsible for obtaining any necessary permits. The tent is lightweight and portable! The top is packaged in a storage bag that is roughly the size of a huge sleeping bag; you’ll also receive a bundle of poles and a bundle of stakes.

DO NOT store the stakes or poles inside the Tent Top Storage Bag when returning the tent!

It is roughly 800 square feet in size for a 20′ x 40′ canopy.

Your contract will not be closed as soon as you return from vacation. Hard surfaces and grass are both suitable for this style tent, but it does require a level surface due to the frame’s reduced flexibility compared to the pole tents that have been demonstrated thus far.

We recommend adding the 20×40 Grass Setup Tent Rental to your order if you’re planning a large event such as a party, corporate event, wedding, cookout, shower, bar/bah mitzvah, grand opening, or other large gathering where you want to create either a shaded area with seating for your guests or a dining area where your guests can enjoy food and snacks.

What’s included in the Tent Setup?

Steel poles, steel stakes, and nylon rope are used to anchor the tent setup in the grass, which is why it is made of steel. This tent does not have any partitions; it is simply a top tent with no other features. There are side poles that are 7′ tall and are made of two sections of 1″ diameter galvanized steel that are 1″ in diameter. The center poles are made of galvanized steel and are 12’9″ tall. They are made of four pieces of 1.5″ diameter galvanized steel.

Capacity

Approximately 80 persons may be accommodated for a sit-down supper in a 20×40 party pole tent. When it comes to comfortable seating, the conventional event planner’s rule of thumb is 10 square feet per person, which includes room for table and chair placement.

What are the Standard features of this Tent?

One-piece top made of 14 oz transparent vinyl with reinforced metal plates sewn into the top at all places for extra strength during heavy-duty assembly. All panels are glued together with 1″ overlapping seams that have been heat sealed. Valances with scalloped edges are bound together using vinyl binding. The tent’s sidewall ropes are permanently linked to the structure. Guy ropes and jump ropes are spliced into the poles at each of the designated locations. A poly top bag and a side pole bag are included.

Tent SETUP:

Tents are normally set up 1-3 days ahead to the event’s start time. In the event that you want the tent to be set up at a certain time, please contact us directly through email. Be aware that it takes 3-4 hours to set up a tent of this size on average. However, because this is a one-day rental, please do not plan on having it put up or taken down early or late. It will only be set up or taken down if it works into our schedule the day before or after your event. If you need to make sure that it is put up early one day and picked up later the next day, you will have to pay an additional day rental fee for each additional day that you require.

We have the option of setting up the tents on grass or asphalt.
