  • Staff is outstanding, and there are several group activities to participate in, making it simple to meet new people. The tents are tidy and well-appointed. A distinct party atmosphere exists, which is fantastic if that’s what you’re want, but there isn’t much quiet room if you’re seeking to relax a little bit more. Additionally, WiFi is only available in the common area (albeit it is very powerful there)
  • Female, 18-24 years old, from the United States Despite the fact that I remained at Free Cerveza for a week, I could have stayed for an eternity! The hostel is located directly on the lake, with views of the mountains, in the picturesque town of Santa Cruz. It’s possible to spend the day sipping on a drink, swimming or lounging on the dock, and/or participating in one of the activities that are available to guests (yoga, sunrise hike, SUP, kayak, etc). The staff was really helpful and polite. I slept in one of the fresh new tents that they have available and had a 5-star experience! Oh, and hot showers, of course. The cuisine is very wonderful. I can’t wait to see everyone again
  • Canada, female, ages 31-40
  • This is, without a doubt, my nicest hostel I have ever been in. I was in such awe of it that I didn’t venture off the property for the first four days. The perfect scenery, climate, swimming, cuisine, and friendly people may all be found here if you’re seeking for a vacation destination. The atmosphere was fantastic, and I thoroughly loved it. It was an amazing venue to meet so many beautiful people because of the free family dinners and free beer, as well as the abundance of drinking activities to help them go down quicker. I’ll be back for more! Thank you for the complimentary cerveza:)
  • Canada, Male, 31-40
  • Complimentary paddle boards, kayaks, and a private dock that is ideal for swimming and relaxing on. Our individual tent was comfortable, although a little on the pricier side. Because they are all biodegradable, the toilets smell rather terrible
  • England, couple between the ages of 18 and 24
  • This location was fantastic! It’s similar to an adult summer camp. I was here during the holidays, and it was a fantastic place to spend the time with family and friends. Because of the large family gatherings, it is really simple to meet new individuals. We hosted a few of fantastic parties here, and on Christmas Eve, we brought out the tickle trunk of onesies to get into the holiday spirit. I had originally planned to stay for three nights, but ended up staying for six nights total. Careful. This location is a maelstrom of energy. Of course, we’re talking about wonderful moments
  • Canada, Female, 25-30
  • This is an amazing hostel, and if you’re traveling to the lake, you should absolutely stay here. One drawback (and it’s unclear what can be done about it): there are dogs all over the place near the hostel, and they bark nonstop all night, it’s exhausting and seems like they’re fighting with one other. It was due of this that I didn’t get much sleep when I was here. But, as I already stated, it is still very worthwhile to stay here. It seems like you’re at summer camp while you’re in England, and the facilities and setting are beautiful. Because there are lockers, you need bring a lock with you. Tents and casitas do not have locks (poor front gate security too). The cost of the group supper is 75Q, which includes two hours of beer. There are several free things to choose from – I participated in the morning trek and yoga. In addition, there is a wonderful dock to swim off of and free paddle boards and kayaks available. They have additional blankets and towels available. There is no outside food or drink permitted. The casitas are even lovely than they appear on the webpage! Women between the ages of 25 and 30 from the United States
  • Really wonderful site for “glamping” with an amazing view
  • Bathrooms are “compost toilets.” The fact that you have access to a private dock and free usage of SUPs and kayaks is a great benefit. The common room has a great ambiance, however it might be unpleasant to sit in for long periods of time because there are only mats on the floor. If you’re looking for environmentally responsible solutions, compost toilets are a good choice, albeit they can have a strong stench. Personaly, I wasn’t thrilled with the cuisine, and it’s a bit overpriced
  • It’s only really worth going for dinner if you’re planned on drinking a lot of beer
  • United States, Female, ages 18-24 When I booked this hostel, I was completely unaware that it was a party hostel! Because the tent photo appeared to be more quaint, I assumed there would be less tents, but there are around 20 tents all in a little space.so the image was a little misleading.however, the tent itself was rather wonderful! Small lockers are available, thus you would not be able to secure your travel backpack in one of them. The members of the staff that welcomed us were nasty and dismissive.- The dock was really convenient for swimming! However, we ate all of our meals and spent the majority of our time at the Iguana hostel instead
  • Canada, Female, 25-30
  • I was not the only one who was upset. It seems that the only ones who seemed to have had a good time were the volunteer workers and perhaps a few of their acquaintances. Volunteer personnel had the worst attitude I’d ever had from volunteers
  • Managers, on the other hand, were much kinder. However, they do have a lovely location on the lake where you can take kayaks or saps, which is about the only advantage of staying there. You don’t have a kitchen or food that’s worth the money at that place. It was on the second night that I spent 75Q for three tacos, and after that I moved on to other venues. *New tents

  • It is a large facility with several amenities. Because of the bar and the fact that it is a party hostel, it is a little boisterous, but it does not interfere with the experience because the music ends at 9 p.m. My room was spacious, clean, and comfy, and I enjoyed staying there. In addition, the cleaning crew is continually scrubbing the floors and cleaning the rooms. My overall impression of the location was positive, and I want to return
  • Belgium, male, between the ages of 31 and 40
  • The employees were quite kind, and the rooms were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hostel. In the dorms, there are curtains surrounding the beds to provide a little privacy. The location was excellent, being close to the main center of Antigua. Australia, Male, 18-24 years old
  • Excellent location to stay in Antigua, which I thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend
  • USA, Male, 31-40
  • If you have the opportunity to travel to Guatemala, it is highly recommended to stay in a beautiful position with an amazing view from the terrace. England, male, ages 31 to 40
  • I had a fantastic experience in the hostal with the friendly personnel, and the volcano walk was incredible. I would recommend everything without reservation
  • Mexico, Male, 25-30
  • Excellent hostel with really helpful personnel and a positive atmosphere
  • England, Male, 25-30
  • I absolutely adored my time at the Tropicana. As a true party hostel, it hosts several activities throughout the week, such as a beer pong tournament held each Thursday. Besides Vulcano tours, Tropicana has some of the greatest
  • Nevertheless, those who are heading to the Vulcano may wake you up (even if you aren’t going with them)
  • Denmark, Male, 18-24
  • The hostel was excellent for meeting new people and traveling around Antigua because it is near to the Parque Central and other attractions in the city. The one thing that disturbed me was that there was only one bathroom in the dorms, with just two showers, for a group of more than twenty individuals. In the mornings, I had to get out of my dorm and trek to other restrooms in order to shower and use the restroom. The bed was comfy, and the beverages served at happy hour were excellent. USA, Female, 18-24 years old
  • It was a terrific experience for the money. Be prepared for limited privacy and the possibility of sleeping on the top bunk. We enjoyed a few beers at the pub and then retired to our rooms. The mattress I was sleeping on was really firm. It served its function for a fast overnight stay in AntiguaGuatemala, and that was sufficient. If I had to do it all over again, I would. Claudia is a Guatemalan woman in her forties who is 41 years old. The location is excellent. The ambiance is pleasant, and the personnel is courteous. However, when you consider that you are sleeping in a 15-person room, the price is completely unjustified. Why? A tiny room with five three-story beds is available. It appears to have been stolen from a ghetto during World War II. The cleaners opted to start at 9 a.m. since they assumed no one would be staying in the room over that hour for whatever reason. You would think that for such a little space, the pricing would be reasonable, however that is not the case at all

  • Everything was great, the staff was really pleasant, and the view was spectacular! (We watched lava flowing from the volcano Fuego), a bonfire, and a generally pleasant mood. If you enjoy being around other people, this is the spot for you:)

  • Fantastic spot to stay if you’re looking to save money on your travel expenses. Sleeping in tents on the roof with a breathtaking view of Antigua was a wonderful experience in a clean and welcoming environment. The only negative aspect was probably the kitchen, which was generally filthy most of the time. Australia, couple, between the ages of 25 and 30
  • Great spot to hang out! We had a great time in our tiny tent, and everyone there was quite kind. If we happen to end up in Antiqua, we’ll definitely come back! Thank you very much. Denmark, male, between the ages of 25 and 30
  • A pleasant experience was had while staying at this hostel. It was clean, the staff was kind, and they were always there if you needed anything. I liked it. Romanian female, between the ages of 25 and 30
  • We were really dissatisfied with our stay at Camping and Travel Antigua. While I appreciate that they have tents and try to keep prices low, there were a number of things that went wrong, including being placed in a crappy bunk room when we had booked a tent, only 3 or 4 quiet hours between the hours of 1:30am and 5:30am, rude guests, total disorder, bathrooms up a flight of stairs and on the other side of the hostel, and our bed and belongings being given to a different guest. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. We departed a day and a night early
  • We were a couple from the United States, between the ages of 25 and 30.

Adra Hostel

4.8 out of 5 (25Reviews) The image is courtesy of Adra Hostel and Expedia.com. For the next three months, I will be unavailable. The outside of Adra Hostel is inspired by 18th-century style, while the interior is filled with contemporary accents such as paintings, geometric tiling, and striped bunk beds. Comfortable embroidered bedding await weary visitors, and eco-conscious tourists will appreciate the use of biodegradable materials, water-saving cleaning methods, and organic meals cooked by two in-house chefs, among other amenities.

Ojalá Hostel is a hostel in Ojalá, Hungary.

Ojaláis is a strange Spanish word that translates as “hopefully.” It is derived from the Arabic language and can be translated more literally as “with God’s permission.” Before launching the rebuilt colonial facility some years ago, Ojalá’s proprietors must have said something similar, and their dreams are now coming true with this luxury hostel idea, which pays respect to Antigua’s historic heritage via elements such as crown molding and a terrace lined with columns.

Super-soft linens, blackout curtains, and contemporary facilities are provided in the dorms.

There would be no need for you to tote your bags about all day because Maya Papaya is located within walking distance of the Antigua bus station and the town plaza.

There is everything you need under one roof in this adults-only accommodation whether you want to spend your time cooking in the kitchen, reading in the library, or sunbathing on the balcony.
