Disney Gearing Up For Work on Pete’s Silly Side Show Tent
As the theme park continues to function in the middle of the continuing epidemic, Pete’s Silly Side Show has been transformed into a mask-free relaxing station. Nonetheless, given the fact that Disney World is continuing its staged reopening and that they have relaxed the present face mask rule on property, may they now be preparing to resume the character meet and greets at this location? Image courtesy of Disney It appears like Disney is planning to renovate the Storybook Circus tent (also known as Pete’s Silly Side Show) in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, according to a recently submitted permit, which can be viewed here.
Although face masks are no longer needed outside, Disney World is beginning to eliminate these mask-free relaxation stations, and it is possible that this permission is in connection with their removal.
However, at this time, there is no confirmation of what precisely this permission is for, other than what is stated on the actual paperwork, which states once more that the permit is to “supply labor, material, and/or electricity for construction.” Inside the Magic will keep you informed when new information becomes available.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow Concept Art and a Little Explanation
Disney has unveiled concept art for Pete’s Silly Sideshow, which will be released in the near future. This last event will bring the new Storybook Circus in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World to a successful conclusion. The two attraction posters for this attraction are seen in the gallery below. It is wonderful to finally get some information regarding the experience since so little has been known about it up until now. Guests will be invited to “come one, come all” to meet famous Disney characters inside one of the area’s big top tents as part of this brand new experience.
According to the illustration above, one route will lead you to the starring females, “Minnie Magnifique” and “Madame Daisy Fortuna,” while the other will take you past “The Great Goofini” and “The Astounding Donaldo.” In contrast to the Toontown Circus meet and greet, customers will not be able to interact with Mickey Mouse, who will instead remain as a magician in the Town Square Theater.

REVIEW: Iconic Magic Kingdom Treats Get a Valentine’s Day Makeover!
Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks away (which is amazing considering it seems like Christmas just happened last week), and Disney is showering us with as many pink and red hearts as we can take! The following items were recently spotted: these Valentine’s Day ears that will be available in the parks shortly, these Retro Sweetheart Mickey and Minnie Dolls, and even a Love Potion that did not work! At the Main Street Confectionery, we are constantly creating something delicious for the season, and Valentine’s Day is no exception!
What I Would Do Locked in the Magic Kingdom Overnight
Let us clarify a few points: in this insane fantasy of mine, everything continues to function as if it were the middle of the day, but none of the normal regulations apply. Hey, it’s a dream come true. Allow me to enjoy myself. So let’s get this party started! However, for some incomprehensible reason, I am permitted to remain at the Magic Kingdom Park until closing time the next day. I have complete and total control over the entire Kingdom. All of the rides, performances, and food are included in one price.
So everything has returned to the way it was in “ye olden days.” I’m getting a little thrilled just thinking about all of the possibilities, don’t you think so?
Rope Dropping Tips For the Magic Kingdom
You’ve been planning your Walt Disney World vacation for a while now, and you’ve secured a Magic Kingdom park reservation. You intend to travel to Magic Kingdom using Walt Disney World transportation services. Yet, you want to make the most of your time there, so you plan to come early to make the most of your day. At this time, you should refrain from purchasing Genie+ or any specific lightning lane slots. You question if you will be able to see and do everything your group wants to see. Arriving early to “rope-drop” is your best bet for getting in.

PHOTOSVIDEO: Why It Took Us Twice as Long to Get Inside Magic Kingdom Today
We don’t want to be blunt, but we have to be honest with ourselves. At Disney World, not everything is as magical as it seems all of the time. When there are large crowds at the parks, one of the things that might detract from the beauty of Disney is the experience. These crowds frequently result in longer lineups at attractions, more people at restaurants, and just a little bit more waiting in general for things to happen.
It is possible to cope with the crowds in a number of ways, but the most important thing is to put on your patience pants and make the most of your situation. Our family experienced a same scenario this morning on our trip to Magic Kingdom.disneyfoodblog.com

PHOTOS: The TINY New Addition to Magic Kingdom You Probably Haven’t Noticed!
In addition to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts currently happening and the arrival of Galactic Starcruiser and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, there are a number of noteworthy events taking place at Disney World right now. As much as we are awed by the grandiose aspects of the parks, we like discovering the smaller nuances that make them unique.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow, Storybook Circus Merchandise, and Walkthrough – Magic Kingdom 10/8/12 Part 1
This page contains information about Pete’s Silly Sideshow, Storybook Circus Merchandise, and the Magic Kingdom Walkthrough. 10/8/12 Part 1 Our final destination will be Pete’s Silly Sideshow, which opened its doors on October 4th, more than a year ago this month. Recent weather has impeded my attempts at visiting. Fortunately, I was able to avoid the rain today, and the forecast for the next few days is for much drier conditions. Snow White is in line at the main entrance, which is where we started from.
- What you can expect from the Princesses and Mickey is as follows.
- You have the initial queue and then another queue while you wait in the room to meet the magician.
- The only place to meet Minnie in her classic red polka dot dress is Character Spot at Epcot.
- Goofy no longer greets in Adventureland.
- And ChipDale have moved from Tomorrowland to Frontierland in Donald’s old spot.
- FASTPASS for Mickey remains unconnected to the system, meaning you can collect FASTPASSes whenever you want, including right after pulling Princess FASTPASSes.
- Since FASTPASSes are usually 40 minutes out, you may want to shop, grab a snack at the Confectionery or Bakery, or get in line to meet Snow White, Pluto, or Marie.
The Movie It, Shake It, Celebrate It Parade is by far the easiest daytime parade to see.
Are we seriously not going to be able to get a picture with this alien at Ariel’s Grotto?
I’m not exactly celebrating Winnie the Pooh’s departure from Hollywood Studios, but enough is enough of that guy.
but refuses to put them somewhere accessible to guests.
With Storybook Circus more or less completed, we’ll take a walk over.
I stopped for a few pictures and it took me about ten minutes to walk from the turnstile to the entrance of the Circus.
So far so good.
There currently aren’t any benches or tables in it, but that may change.
One more aside, it looks like Merida’s bear contraption is completely gone – replaced by crates.
This is a solid 45+ minutes if you got in line now.
Otherwise, arrive around 6pm, but not much later or you risk not making the cutoff for the 6:30pm meet.
Up and around to the right would be Tomorrowland and Indy Speedway.
The entrance to Storybook Circus is behind Mad Tea Party just ahead.
We made it.
Splash Zone, Pete’s Silly Sideshow Storybook Circus Train Station, Bathrooms, and three snack carts.
As you enter the Circus, Big Top Souvenirs is first on your left and Dumbo is on your right.
Straight ahead is the Casey Jr.
Barnstormer is up on the right and the Train Station is located in between that and the Bathrooms in the very back.
There’s also a walkway to Space Mountain and Tomorrowland up past the entrance to Barnstormer on the right.
The exit from the train, if you’re traveling here from Frontierland or Main Street, is to the left of the Bathrooms.
See if you know where everything is!
Speaking of scam artists like myself just out to steal strollers and save a few dollars on a $15 margarita, La Cava del Tequila’s marketing arm sent me an email today: “Hello,I represent La Cava delTequila at Epcot through their public relations and social media effortsand it has come to my attention that some users may be misrepresenting La Cava’sspecials.
This is the link to the discussion that contains the misleading posts: ”Hope that went well for you.
These two meet in one line.
Both have a posted wait time overhead.
A cutout of Pete greets out front and his voice welcomes everyone to the area.
A sign in the queue explains the characters that will LEAVE YOU BREATHLESS.
The queue is scary long.
See you in July.
I’m actually in line for Donald/Goofy, but can see Daisy and Minnie on the opposite side.
You’ll meet Goofy as the Great Goofini first.
He’s looking pretty trim.
Goofy just wants a Hershey’s bar and all he can get are celery and bananas.
Exhaust sprays out of the bike he’s crashed into the wall and his trophies spin.
We’re zoomed in far enough here that the background almost doesn’t matter.
You can see the patch on his thigh, the dirt underneath that, and then charring on the cuff.
I didn’t realize how goofy the lighting in here was until I got homeand looked over the pictures.
Come at us bro.
Why’d ithave to be snakes?
The posted wait was ten minutes and it took me a total of 17 minutes to wait for and meet both characters.
Prepare to be left in a STATE OF WONDERMENT.
The point here is that you’ll want to be prepared to head through both lines if there’s a chance the kids (or adults) will see the other set of characters and want to hop in the other line.
Luckily, they do meet continuously.
Not a light packer I see.
Guest Relations is actually receiving complaints about Disney’s use of “black magic,” if you can believe that.
I just don’t feel like Daisy has built enough of a reputation yet.
And honestly, since she doesn’t really talk, you never know if something is lost in translation.
There’s really no telling.
But really, this whole fortune telling hocus pocus business really has me worked up.
Those eyes.
The Siren of the Seine, Minnie Magnifique, and the Pirouetting Parisian Poodles will greet you after Daisy.
Doesn’t Disney remember Freedom Fries and Freedom Horns?
Daisy the Brazilian Oil Tycoon?
That has a bit of a ring to it.
Get it?
Center ring?
I don’t know about pirouetting, but they’re very well behaved.
And Minnie is tres magnificent.
It took 36 minutes to wait for and meet these two with the 25 minute posted wait.
With these next-generation meets popping up at Enchanted Tales with Belle and soon at Ariel’s Grotto, the bar has been raised a bit.
And there’s two lines instead of one.
Obviously when there’s a second set, wait times drop in half.
That’s why you see the five minute posted wait at Mickey.
Otherwise, I like the backdrops a lot and the theme is well executed.
back here instead of the run-of-the-mill characters.
Exit Through the Gift Shop.
I haven’t seen the Dumbo ones that were available on the day it opened since.
These little hats have arrived.
Just in case you want to spend more money.
$12.95 each.
The scenario with FASTPASSes is the same as it is back here in the yellow tent.
I started with Dumbo, which was printed using the pointless PhilharMagic FASTPASS feature.
Right now, I’m planning to visit Storybook Circus about 11am after seeing the big Fantasyland rides, other characters who will have lengthier outside lines, and some of the low-capacity attractions such as Astro Orbiter and Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, among others.
Following that, I’d go after Goofy and Donald.
This is a fantastic use of time because it is well air-conditioned and you can get a good look at the other interactions.
You may decide to return to Magic Kingdom sooner rather than later if you have spent many days there.
However, I believe that a 10:30am – 11am arrival time is a reasonable compromise.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get out early on Wednesday to have a closer look at how the Magic Kingdom characters are currently doing.
We’ll sample the Circus Hot Dog and the Main Street Bakery Turkey Sandwich, as well as take a closer look at the Bakery’s selections in general. In addition, there is some Little Mermaid stuff.
