5.0 stars out of 5 for this product It’s youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu On January 11, 2019, a review was conducted in the United States. First and foremost, it is far larger than you anticipate. Second, it’s a lot heavier than you’d expect. Having said that, you will not require this item for yourself, so it is not a major problem. Bring a sled and offer to assist in pulling it. I was able to set it up in a matter of minutes the first time I tried it without consulting the instructions.
- The takedown process was a little more complicated, but it was still really simple.
- By all means, this is not a shabby little cabin.
- I was pleasantly delighted by my initial impression, and I have no regrets about my purchase.
- I still think it’s fantastic!
- The low and medium settings were all that we truly required.
- There was no dampness, and there was no annoying dripping.
- I recommend that you acquire one as well, because putting in two anchors by hand will take you far longer than building up the shack.

On November 29, 2018, a review was conducted in the United States. Fatfish 9416i 7-9 Person Insulated (Fatfish 9416i) Purchase that has been verified I’m not even sure how to begin this sentence. I’m embarrassed by how foolish I feel. This is not a water-resistant product. I had previously seen this item on another website, which claimed that it was completely weatherproof and waterproof. I was absolutely oblivious to the fact that that particular section of the advertisement had been eliminated.
- In the event that I had been in Minnesota during a sleet storm and subzero temperatures at the time of this discovery, I would have been a very unhappy client.
- A single ice fisherman that I am aware of would never consider this to be an insignificant aspect.
- I’m really bewildered as to what’s going on.
- It heats up rapidly, has a ton of room, and is quite well built, among other things.
- In a gentle downpour with moderate wind, it soaked and leaked entirely through, flooding the whole interior.
- In this case, there should be a disclaimer.
- Second, it’s a lot heavier than you’d expect.
Bring a sled and offer to assist in pulling it.
I was very taken aback by how simple it was.
I’m pleased with the quality of the materials and workmanship.
I’m a serious ice angler, and I’m fussy about the equipment I use.
My thoughts on this cabin have not changed after taking it out on Mille Lacs Lake tonight.
Our buddy heater worked wonders in keeping the place nice and toasty throughout.
I’m really pleased with my decision to go with the insulated model.
I’m also grateful that I was able to obtain the drill bit for installing ice anchors.
The failure to use anchors is an invitation to calamity.

The photographs in this review On July 1, 2018, a review was conducted in the United States.
This was only used once.
Three of the pole compartments had the support poles actually pressing through the stitching, so I removed them and discarded them.
I wrote Eskimo with images, but have not gotten a response as of this writing.
Hopefully, they are willing to stand behind their goods.
Artisam came in and rebuilt the shelter right away.
I’m hoping that the new shelter will hold up.
The first time I used it, a hub failed on me last year.
I contacted customer service, and they promptly shipped me a replacement hub at no cost.
No issue, I just contacted customer service and placed an order for a replacement, as well as spare parts and a spare hub.
OUTSTANDING customer service.
I’ve used it in sub-zero temperatures with a Big Buddy heater set to a low setting and it kept me comfortably warm.
My experience with condensation has been very different since then.
Instead of using rope to secure it, I utilize bungee cords to do so.
In addition, the setup is speedier.
and maybe ten minutes or so for the dismantling and packing up.
I’ll stay with the uninsulated option because I don’t intend to sleep in it and it is quite warm when out on the ice, even in -15 degree temperatures.
If you enjoy ice fishing with a group of two to three other individuals, this shanty will be ideal for you.

I never saw myself in one of these situations.
Now that I have one of them, I can’t image ever not having one on my person at all times.
When it’s -10 F outside, I use a buddy heater to keep me warm for 6+ hours.
This “Cabin” has enough space for three huge guys to sit comfortably on seats, with plenty of room to spare.
even if the fish aren’t biting at the moment Every winter, I’m looking forward to getting out on the ice with my family. Allow the wind to blow! After three years (approx. 12 uses). The pole pockets are beginning to come undone and fall apart. shelter is a waste of time

4.0 stars out of 5 for this product With a few exceptions, it’s fantastic. On November 17, 2020, the Canadian government will review the document. Style: Fatfish 949 (three to four people). Purchase that has been verified With a few caveats, this is a fantastic pop-up shelter. To be clear, I utilized this in conjunction with a wall tent stove to create a winter camping shelter for me and my family. With that said, here are some advantages and disadvantages to consider. PROS: It is really simple to set up.
- When compared to a canvas tent, it is a good deal less expensive and only a fraction of the cost.
- Excellent zippers that are nicely made.
- Expect a lot of water to infiltrate through the shelter if you don’t seal it with some sort of silicone sealant, especially on wet days.
- Bring a rag and be prepared to clean out a few surfaces.
- I am quite satisfied.
- On March 11, 2019, a review was published in Canada for the style Fatfish 949.
- Three or four people can easily fish inside.
According to what I’ve heard, some people are dissatisfied with the carrying bag, but I thought it to be nicely made, with comfortable shoulder straps for transporting it across the lake.
The ice screws are of high quality, and they hold the tent together effectively in a strong wind.
The only negative is the small plastic nibs used to cover the points of the ice screws, which is a little inconvenience.
I put the screw tips in these and put the bag back on my shelf.
5.0 stars out of 5 for this product This is a very lovely bag.
On January 30, 2017, a review was conducted in Canada.
It’s ridiculously simple and quick to put together and take down, and it all fits back into the bag.
We’ve only fished in temperatures ranging from -6 to 0 degrees Celsius, but we’ll be putting it out in temperatures ranging from -24 to -17 degrees Celsius in a few days, so we’ll see how it does.
I had no trouble getting the anchors to hold in the frozen water.
Despite the fact that the interior was dark, the large number of windows made it appear to be rather light.
His thing, man, is massive!
Maybe 5 or 6.
Yes, it is far warmer than the prior shelters I have visited.
It’s a relief to be able to stand up straight again.
The only other enormous pop-up shelter in the ice on that particular day happened to be the same as this one.
With only two little pockets, and the mesh pockets being restricted to the edges of the seams, the form isn’t really practical for anything other than a bulky item like a coat.
The only issue I encountered was that one of the metal discs covering a hub was bent once it was up, which was a little inconvenience.
However, it was able to remove it in a matter of seconds and hammer it flat once more.
Because of the wind, one of the sides was blown in, and I had to use two of the ropes and additional anchors to secure it.
The material has held up quite well.
I’ll also take this occasion to point you that the anchor penetrates even very hard ice with relative ease.
However, it appears to work well on anchors with broken tips, just in case you were wondering.
During our time out on the town on a mild but windy day, the snow transitioned to heavy rain for about an hour.
The top corners remained moist, but the vinyl covering on the interior of those corners prevented this.
I’m guessing we’ll be utilizing it when camping this summer as well.
Fatfish 949 is a design style.
People have reported that they are experiencing issues with the black cracking on the inside.
Putting it back in the bag while it’s still wet.
Before putting the dumb things in the bag, make sure they are completely dry.
4.0 stars out of 5 for this product Exceptional tent On the 31st of December, 2017, a review was conducted in Canada.
Insulated for 7-9 people Purchase that has been verified It’s a high-quality tent that is quite attractive.
The one drawback is that the carry bag is difficult to get back into, especially when it’s -20 or -30 outside. The tent itself is excellent, but the bag should be redesigned so that it can be opened up and dropped into the tent with lovely Velcro straps to shut tightly.

Best ice shelter ever
- I’ve been ice fishing for 45 years and have used a variety of ice shacks, both portable and permanent. This is the nicest I’ve ever had

- This was purchased for use on my back porch during the winter months in Colorado, where I like smoking cigars. I placed a gas heater in it and it keeps me nice and toasty. This item appeals to me greatly and I anticipate that it will serve me well for many years. Yes|Condition: Pre-owned|Purchased with verification
Comfortable and warm!
- This is a fantastic place to stay. Setup and takedown are simple, and the room is really comfortable. Can accommodate three nice buddies or a father and son with their comfortable recliners, refreshments, auger, grill (for those hot dogs), and a large amount of ice fishing equipment! It was worth every penny to witness the large grins on their cheeks as they embarked on their BIG ICE FISHING ADVENTURE. They could have done a commercial for Eskimo if they wanted to. Priceless.
