The epic, larger-than-life story of virtue triumphing against evil despite all odds in the film It is invigorating in and of itself to see The Lord of the Rings films. The Hobbits stand up against the oldest force in Middle-earth, the Ring of Power. Men participate in battle with elves and dwarfs. Throughout The Lord of the Rings, there are characters that find their inner power even when faced with the most difficult of situations. Because of the words of wisdom that are uttered throughout the narrative, this message is made all the more powerful and motivating.
5. “Become who you were born to be.” – Elrond
Aragorn awakens from a nightmare in which he sees a dead man while sleeping in the encampment at Dunharrow. Arwento is summoned to Théoden’s tent by a Rohirrim soldier who he encounters. When Aragorn enters, he discovers King Théoden talking to a man cloaked in a dark cloak, which Aragorn immediately recognizes. Lord Elrond of Rivndell shows himself to be the mystery guest as Théoden is about to leave. Théoden thanks the visitor and departs. He informs Aragorn that he has come on Arwen’s behalf and bestows onto Aragorn his ancestral sword, Andril, which was reforged from the shards of Narsil and is now known as Andril.
Aragorn is subsequently told by Elrond to “set the ranger aside.” “Become the person you were meant to be.” After spending his boyhood hiding away in Rivendell, Aragorn spent the rest of his life eludingSauron and his soldiers.
Aragorn had witnessed the damage that power had done to his family line, and he worried that he possessed the same flaws.
After years of service as a ranger, Elrond sees that it is past time for Aragorn to abandon the safety and security that he had come to rely on. I believe it is past time for him to make the daring decision of confidently assuming his role as King.
4. “There is always hope.” – Aragorn
As the sun sets over Helm’s Deep, the soldiers of Rohan prepare to confront the seemingly insurmountable difficulties that lie ahead of them. Ten thousand Uruk-hai are on their way from Isengard, marching in a line. Aragorn stands outside the keep, inspecting the farmers and stable boys who have been transformed into soldiers by the sudden arrival of the army. Aragorn comes upon a young man who, despite the fact that he is armed and appears to be prepared for fight, is hesitant and fearful of the situation.

Following his own experience with difficult tribulations, Aragorn understands that the prospect of success may be enough to keep people going and see them through the most difficult of times.

“Andril,” also known as the “Flame of the West,” is a term that appears in both the J.R.R. Tolkien novels and the later cinematic adaptations of the books of the Lord Of The Rings series. The portrayal of Andril in the films, on the other hand, differs from the portrayal of the character in the novels. Andril is initially seen as the sword reforged from the shards of Narsil, King Elendil’s weapon, in the film The Return of the King.
Origin
When Andril was first created, it was the sword Narsil, fashioned by Telchar of Nogrod, the dwarven master blacksmith. During the War of the Last Alliance, it was King Elendil who held the sword Narsil. When Elendil and Gil-galad joined forces to fight Sauron, Narsil was shattered into two parts. Following his loss, Elendil’s sonIsildurtakes up his father’s sword during the final battle of the war and uses it to chop Sauron’s hand off with the One Ring, so ending the conflict. Upon Isildur’s death, his squire, Ohtar, transported the shards to Arbor and presented them to Isildur’s son, Valandil, who was then buried there.
Following the Council of Elrond, the Smithies of Rivendell reforged Narsil into a new sword, which was used in the Battle of the Five Armies.
Galdriel and Celeborn presented Aragorn with a sheath for Andril while they were inLothlórien.
It also possessed the unique ability, which was the result of an enchantment, to render any blade drawn from it impervious to damage, whether in victory or defeat.
As a last resort, he grudgingly put the sword away before meetingThéoden, informingHámathat that anybody other than himself would be killed if they attempted to draw the Andril from its scabbard.
Portrayal In The Movies
Narsil is the name of the blade’s first appearance in The Fellowship of the Ring. Elendil wields it during the Battle of Dargorlad, during which he raises the sword to his hilt in order to rouse his warriors. Elendil and Gil-galad are both killed at the Battle of the Five Armies against Sauron. His son Isildur takes up the sword, desiring to engage in combat with Sauron. Although Isildur’s assaults are deflected, Sauron stomps on the shield, breaking it completely. Sauron then proceeds to finish off Isildur, but Isildur is able to use the hilt shard of Narsil to cut Sauron’s hand off, preventing the One Ring from falling into his hands.
- In Rivendell, Boromiris is awestruck by the mythical sword and traces his finger down the hilt shard of the blade, causing him to cut himself in the process.
- After realizing Aragorn is staring his way, he tosses the hilt shard on the ground.
- In response to Arwen’s pleadings, Elrond grudgingly orders the reforging of Narsil by the smithies of Rivendell, resulting in the creation of the new sword Andril.
- Following this, Elrond informs Aragorn that his daughter, Arwen, is in the process of dying.

Physical Attributes
Anduril’s Reforging of the Sword is now underway. In the novels, it is represented as an arming sword, a blade that is handled with one hand and is intended to be used in conjunction with a shield to defend oneself. The comparison between Andril’s sword and Boromir’s sword is particularly egregious because Boromir, who is a sword and shield combatant, would never use a longsword. Also, when preparing for the Battle of the Hornburg, Aragorn takes a shield from Théoden’s armory, adding further support to the theory that Andril is a sword of arming.

The blade has been praised for its brilliance, proving that it lives up to its moniker. Telchar of Nogrod created the original blade from which Andril was reforged, Narsil, which was used in the reforging of Andril. Telchar was widely regarded as one of the most accomplished craftsman of his day. Andril’s original props are in the possession of American comedian and television personality Stephen Colbert.

Pippin expresses himself. This restaurant is known for its salted pork. “Pork seasoned with salt?” “Hobbits!” said Gimli.

We all get on a boat and ride through the water in search of this so-called Treebeard.
