The 20×40 Pole Tent is only available for grass set-up. *ALL TENTS REQUIRE AN EXTRA FIVE FEET FOR ROPES AND ANCHORS. In order to put up a 20×40 tent, you will want a grass area of 50Lx30W in size. *This tent cannot be set up on any surface other than grass. For a sit-down meal, the maximum number of attendees is 80 people. 133 attendees for cathedral (row) seating and 160 guests for a cocktail reception. Clients are responsible for contacting Gopher State One Call at 811 (or by clicking here) at least 48 business hours in advance to arrange for public utilities to be marked (gas, cable, electric, etc). Please keep in mind that Weekender Tents are intended for residential (at-home) use only, although they can be utilized for commercial purposes with proper installation. Please keep in mind that pole tents work best when put up on grass or other soft surfaces. In some cases, pole tents can be used on blacktop or asphalt; however, heavy duty stakes and a stake driver will be required for drilling into the ground in this situation.

Poles: The side poles are two-piece galvanized steel with a 1″ diameter and are 7′ tall. The center poles are four-piece galvanized steel with a 1.5-inch diameter and are 12’9″ tall. Approximately 80 guests may be comfortably accommodated in a 20×40 party pole tent for a sit-down supper. When it comes to comfortable seating, the conventional rule of thumb for event planners is 10 square feet per person to provide for table and chair space.

20X40 white Tent SETUP: Asphalt:

Tents are normally set up 1-3 days ahead to the event’s start time. Unless you have a specific time frame in mind, please bear in mind that all tent setups are normally completed on Thursday and Friday, but at least 1-3 days before to the event, and that they are typically left overnight before being cleaned up the following morning (typically Monday or Tuesday). Be aware that it takes 3-4 hours to set up a tent of this size on average. However, because this is a one-day rental, please do not plan on having it put up or taken down early or late.

If you need to make sure that it is put up early one day and picked up later the next day, you will have to pay an additional day rental fee for each additional day that you require.

Hard surfaces and grass are both suitable for this kind tent, although it does require a level surface due to the frame’s reduced flexibility compared to the pole tents that have been demonstrated thus far. The 10×10 is a portable structure that is simple to assemble.
