On August 4, 2014, it was reviewed in the United States and verified as a purchase. Bah. I returned it to Amazon and received a refund for my money. It would have made an excellent playhouse. If only it would hold firm and not give way. We pulled it out of the box and bag, opened it up, and discovered that one of the main side vertical seams did not remain “popped out” after the bag was fully opened. This led it to invert into itself on that one side, causing it to collapse. Despite our efforts, we were unable to counteract the direction it was leaning in by bending in the other direction, despite our best efforts.
- It is really large, so make sure you have a space large enough to accommodate it comfortably.
- This item’s bottom material is rather thin – it is OK for use indoors, but it should not be attempted to be used outside unless it is on extremely soft grass that would not tear if poked through, or on dry ground with no pebbles or stones to poke through.
- He is unusually tall for his age (44 inches), and the majority of children’s tents are simply too tiny and short for him to use comfortably.
- Oh my goodness, it’s massive!
- This is fantastic!
- My mind immediately goes to “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” because of the vibrant colors used.
- If you go to the Playhut website, you can see a video showing you how to fold it back perfectly.
The fact that it takes up the entire living room floor means that I don’t intend to leave it out all of the time.
I would highly suggest it!
The second time around, I failed to check the measurements of something I had purchased, and the result was the polar opposite of what I had anticipated.
It’s large enough to accommodate three people and a toddler comfortably.
One side is mesh, allowing children to look out while also allowing you to see in.
The only issue is re-folding it after it has been opened.
It was akin to a pig vs.
It was a fair value, and we were pleased with it overall.
Ok.
DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!
Well, I’m here to inform you that it is definitely every bit as large as you think it is!
It’s a big hit with the youngsters.
The takedown, on the other hand, is not difficult.
My brother and I struggled with this thing until we were both ready to cry *Uncle*, but we never managed to make it all compressed!
Years ago, I purchased one of these for my older children.
As a result, I opted to get a more recent model for my little son.
It’s a great accomplishment for him.
It can, however, be difficult to fold up.
I am fortunate in that I have a spacious closet.
On July 5, 2014, it was reviewed in the United States and verified as a purchase.
This, on the other hand, is a nightmare to store.
I was completely incorrect on both counts.
Simple folding is demonstrated in the videos they have available.
Both of their folding methods are clearly ineffective for our purposes.
Their second video, which demonstrates how to resolve the common problem of twisted wires, has proven to be highly useful and successful as well.
Overall, while the kids enjoy it, I may give it away to a friend or an adversary because the folding required to store it is not worth the effort.
Having said that, this significant flaw also ensures that this product will never sell at its full retail value.
I purchased this for my grandchildren to use both indoors and outside for their playtime.
One side or the other is always crumbling.
Although it arrived with no written instructions, I’m going to have to look for a video on the internet that could be more helpful in the future.
Make use of a tape measure to get a sense of the size before you buy it!
To be quite honest, I didn’t pay attention to the specs and assumed it was a little play house.
So you can imagine my astonishment when I received this item and chose to open it up right away. This thing is enormous! I can’t wait for my daycare children to get their hands on it. For the size, the pricing (just under $20) is excellent! On the negative side, it is difficult to store properly.

4.0 stars out of 5 for this product | Greetings, fellow parents. If you’re a fan of Bluey, as we are, this is a charming and reasonably priced amusing toy to add to your collection. It is really simple to set up and put together. I had a great time running around it and inside it, as well as flipping it over. I was 19 at the time (after a good 5 minutes of just playing with the assembly sticks of course.) However, when it comes time to fold it back up and put it away, May the chances continue to be in your favor at all times.
- My spouse attempted for 25 minutes before giving up.

- 2.0 out of 5 stars |Extremely dissatisfactory I bought this for my grandson since he enjoys hiding in boxes and is a fan of Bluey, so I thought he would enjoy it.
Only to be really dissatisfied with the entire performance of this product.
We saw that there were tears along the seams where the cables were.
Essentially, we were given a product that was damaged at the seams and had bent wires, making it impossible to use the tent for my grandson in any way.
Regina Farris reviewed the book in the United States on September 10, 2021.
I’m wondering whether this is a copycat version of the tent.
Already, the seams are beginning to fray.
I’m thinking of returning it, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to put it back in the box.
in the United States of America Bluey is our favorite character in this excellent playhouse.
When I spotted this, I knew it was something I had to have because my daughter’s train set pop-up had seen better days.
This is a great height for him to stand in and I appreciate that there is a window and skylight to let the children play with their toys or peek their heads out!
The overall quality is excellent.
Colors are subdued, which isn’t always a bad thing; it simply appears brighter and more colourful online.
I’d suggest it to everyone who asks.
You will not be disappointed!
As soon as I got it out of the package, my daughter couldn’t wait to climb inside and explore it further.
Despite my efforts, it is still a touch malformed on the backside.
Danny gave it a rating of 1.0 out of 5 stars on January 9, 2021 in the United States.
Honestly, I really wanted to like this kids’ play tent, but I couldn’t.
Furthermore, the cloth is so flimsy that even the little object will be able to tear it.
The fact that this product is so pricey despite the fact that it is a poor product is insane.
Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2021 by Becky ‘Bluey’ is a favorite of my granddaughter’s.
There is a plastic bar that slips over the top of the tent to retain the form and ensure that it remains upright.
My granddaughter is tall enough to be able to “surprise” us by popping out of it.
It is she who goes inside it and shuts the flap, after which she may sit and read or play with her toys. This was an excellent purchase, and I am glad I made the purchase. Samantha Jane conducted a review of this publication in the United States on June 5, 2021.
How to Fold Up a Pop Up Tent
4.0 out of 5 stars | 1 user review Fellow parents, please accept my heartfelt greeting. The Bluey plush toy is a nice and reasonably priced fun gift for anyone who enjoy Bluey, as we do. It’s incredibly simple to set up and put together. A lot of fun was had by my 19-year-old son running about and inside the vehicle, and even turning it over (after a good 5 minutes of just playing with the assembly sticks of course.) You will have to fold it back up and put it away after you are finished with it.
- Directions are provided on the map.
- Before I immediately squished it into the box, I attempted for another 15 minutes to get it as little as possible.
- An error occurred while attempting to load the media file.
- It appears to be a knockoff, made of a strange fabric rather than the usual pop up tent material, which is disappointing.
- Keep an eye on this video.
- According to J.
- 2.0 out of 5 stars |Extremely unsatisfactory.
The design of this item appealed to me, and I purchased it for him.
This is when we found out how to put it all together.
Because it is bent, as you can see in the images, and nothing we have done to straighten it has helped in the least bit.
There is a lot of shoddy workmanship in this piece.
The fact that this tent seems similar to others makes me worry whether it’s a fake.
A rip is already appearing at the seams.
Even though I’m thinking of returning it, I’m not confident that I’ll be able to put it back in the box.
on September 27, 2021, in the United States of America Excellent playhouse; Bluey is a favorite of ours.
After seeing this, I knew it was something I had to have because my son’s train set pop-up had seen better days.
This is a great height for him to stand in and I appreciate that there is a window and skylight to let the children play with their toys and pop their heads out.
The product’s quality is outstanding.
It’s not that the colors are subdued; it’s simply that they appear brighter and more colorful on the computer screen.
Anybody would be well advised to use this service.
You won’t be disappointed at all.
As soon as I got it out of the package, my daughter couldn’t wait to climb inside and explore it further.
Despite my efforts, it remains somewhat deformed.
Danny gave it a 1.0 out of 5 star rating on January 9, 2021 in the United States.
In spite of the fact that the vehicle is so little, it may only accommodate one child inside.
When I purchased this little and flimsy play tent, I later discovered a more robust and larger play tent for $35, which I purchased.

It was simple to put this tent together.
A velcro closure holds down the flap on the door, and a hole on the top allows children to look through it with pleasure.
At 32 months, she is quite enthusiastic about the tent. It is she who goes into it and shuts the flap, after which she sits and reads or plays with toys. Buying this was a fantastic decision, and I’m glad I did. By Samantha Jane on June 5, 2021 in the United States of America
- 1 Before you begin folding the tent, clean it well. In most cases, shaking out dirt, sand, and pine needles is all that’s required of you. Despite the fact that you can try again later, the debris may become lodged in the tent folds. Tip the tent to the side to allow the debris to drain. When you have the opportunity, thoroughly clean the tent using a little amount of powdered laundry detergent and a damp towel.
- Never put away a wet tent, otherwise you’ll wind up with mold on your hands
- 2Fold the top two poles together to form a triangle. Place yourself next to the tent. The poles are the ridges on top of the tent to your left and right that go parallel to the ground. Extend your arms to grab both sides and bring them together at the same time. Advertisement
- s3 Fold the bottom two poles together to form a triangle. The tent’s outside boundaries are formed by the bottom poles, which now protrude to the left and right of the tent’s center pole. You’ll have to find a way to get to both of them. Fold one of the bottom poles up and over one of the top poles to create a v-shape. Repeat the process with the other bottom pole to ensure that all four poles are held together.
- 4Turn the tent so that it is on its side. The folded tent has the appearance of a large taco. Continue to hang on to the four tent poles as you turn the tent on its side to the other side. Position the taco so that the open side of the taco form is flush with the ground
- 5 Fold the top poles over to the back of your hand. You’ll have to stretch your hands out once more to complete the task. Reach out over the highest portion of the tent while holding the four poles together. Grab the rear of the taco form with one hand and pull it down to the other with the other. Wrestle the tent to the ground in order to flatten it, and then repeat the process.
- You won’t require more than a minimal amount of force to draw the tent down because of the lightweight nature of the poles. The poles are also flexible, making it unlikely that they would break.
- 6Put the tent parts together by sliding them together. If you fold the tent correctly, it will seem as two circles of cloth that are side-by-side in shape. Bring one over the other to make it easier to pack your tent
- And 7 Place the tent in a bag and press down to seal it. In order to keep a strong grasp on the poles, pop ups are intended to rebound back into the shape of a tent after being smashed. You may use your hands and knees to press down on it to eliminate any remaining air that is keeping it from resting completely flat. After that, place the tent in its bag and store it until your next adventure arrives. Advertisement
- 1 Before folding the tent, shake it to remove any particles. Before you put the tent away, make sure it’s completely clean. Turn it over and shake off any dirt or sand that has become trapped within. With a little water and a hose or a towel, you can clean the tent up well after that. In the event that you don’t have time to deal with severe stains right away, you may pack up the tent and clean it at home.
- When washing away difficult stains, a small amount of powdered detergent might be beneficial.
- 2 Grab the tent’s sides with both hands. Position yourself in front of the tent’s entrance. The tent pole that runs from side to side above the entrance is the one that is closest to you. Grab hold of both edges of the tent with both hands. Even if the door has a cover on it, leave the door open.
- Beach tents are often smaller in size than conventional tents, and they do not have poles running across the width of the tent as do regular tents. In addition, if you’re still having difficulties folding any other tent, you may try this method.
- 3Fold the tent’s sides together to form a square. The tent should be pulled in one direction toward the center, then pushed flat on the ground. While you’re holding it down, move the other side across and place it on top. It should now be in the shape of an oval
- 4 Turn the tent on its side and press it down to make it as flat as possible. Turn the tent so that it is resting on its side. Push down on the middle of this edge with your fingers. As you flatten the tent, it will take on the shape of a figure-8. If you want to guide the tent to the ground, you can put one hand on the side of the tent. Fold the tent in half so that it is completely enclosed. Keep your hands on the tent! If you release go, it will return to its original shape. The tent should be picked up from one side and then carried over to the other side. This results in the tent collapsing into a circle. It’s a good idea to keep one leg on the tent while doing this to keep your grasp from slipping.
- Because the poles are extremely flexible, there is no need to be concerned about them breaking.
- 6Disassemble the tent and put it away. Alternatively, if the tent came with an elastic band, you may use it to keep it in place. Place the tent in its carrying bag. Any poles that are protruding out should be tucked in, and the bag should be closed until you are ready to use the tent again. Advertisement

About This Article
To fold a tiny pop-up tent, begin by facing the entrance of the tent and gripping both of the poles on either side of the entryway. Article SummaryX Once this is done, bring one side of the tent down to the ground and press the other side of the tent down on top of it, forming an oval shape with the tent. Flip the tent so that it is standing on the edge and press down on the middle to form a figure-8 shape with the sides. Last but not least, fold the tent over itself to form a circle and slip it into its storage bag.

These Indoor Play Tents Will Get Your Family Through Fall and Winter, and They’re On Sale Now
Each product that we showcase has been picked and vetted by our editorial staff after being thoroughly researched and tested. If you make a purchase after clicking on one of the links on this page, we may receive a commission. As the weather becomes cooler, many parents get concerned about how they will keep their younger children occupied throughout the upcoming months of winter. We can bundle up in layers and tackle the playground for the entire winter. Plans A and B are both viable options, but we can also transform our houses into beautiful indoor play environments.
What are the benefits of purchasing an indoor play tent?
They are free to imagine whatever they want inside, and there are no distractions to keep them from forgetting about the outside world.
Sure, you can build forts out of furniture and sheets, or transform cardboard boxes into spaceships, labs, trucks, and other imaginative structures—and we wholeheartedly support any and all of these imaginative undertakings.
And, not to disparage your engineering abilities, parents, but a play tent may be far more durable than your blanket fortifications.
Furthermore, a decent play tent is simple to disassemble when you no longer want the floor space, and you’ll be able to effortlessly recreate the enchantment the following day.
They are quite inexpensive right now—and we are not certain that they will continue to be so when we are all stir crazy and desperate in the middle of January.
Have a great time camping!
Monobeach Princess Tent
This gorgeous pink tent is the number one best-seller in the play tents category on Amazon, and it’s easy to understand why. The set up with the attached star lights gives it the appearance of being in one of the posh children’s bedrooms you see in celebrities’ houses. The tent has a diameter of 55 inches and a height of 53 inches. Amazon.com has the Monobeach Princess Tent for $33.95 (originally $58.99).
WillingHeart Rocket Ship Play Tent
Atent that is both a rocket ship as well as outer space will inspire your future astronauts and astronomers in equal measure. (Don’t be concerned with the logic in this case; it somehow works.) One grandma who purchased this tent characterized it as her grandson’s “escape pod fromlittle sister,” which we thought was adorable.
The tent has a diameter of 40 inches and a height of 53 inches. The WillingHeart Rocket Ship Play Tent is available for purchase on Amazon for $25.49 (originally $29.99).
Razee Large Playhouse Tent
Forget about the kids; you could prefer an inside tent as a private retreat from the outside world. In addition to the cream hue and gauzy drapes, the room has a dreamy aesthetic that is appealing enough to stay out in the long run. The tent is 52 inches in length, 35 inches in width, and 60 inches in height. The Razee Large Playhouse Tent is available for purchase at Amazon.com for $69.99 (was $109.99).
USA Toyz Happy Hut Tent
This brightly colored teepee-style tent has a tiny footprint (44 inches by 44 inches), yet it is nevertheless large enough to accommodate three little children. Kids may believe they’re on a wild safari with the help of the flashlight picture projector that comes with it. To purchase: USA Toyz Happy Hut Tent, $23.95, available at Amazon.com.
Bluey Pop n’ Fun Play Tent
This small pop-up tent (28.3 inches long by 28.3 inches wide and 40.2 inches high) has proven to be a popular seller on Amazon, proving that Bluey fans are ravenous for any and all toys that remind them of the beautiful Australian canine. However, there is a caveat emptor element to this situation: In spite of the 4.5-star rating on Amazon, a small number of reviewers have complained about receiving defective or damaged tents in recent months. The low price—it isn’t even on sale—could make it worthwhile to take the chance (and it is eligible for free returns).
Mitcien Kids Camping Play Set
Why purchase a tent alone when you can get a package that includes everything your children will need to simulate “camping”? Additionally, this set contains a tiny tent (which measures 31.5 inches in length by 31.5 inches in width by 33.5 inches in height), a crackling bonfire that is powered by batteries, a battery-driven “oil” light, fake food such as marshmallows on sticks, and a pair of binoculars. We can only hope that they comprehend that camping will never be as simple in the outdoors.
Avrsol Large Kids Play Tent
If you can acquire a tent that includes everything your children need to pretend to be on a camping trip, why not do so? Other items in this set include a little tent (which is 31.5 by 31.5 inches by 33.75 inches) with a roaring fire, a battery-powered “oil light,” fake food (including marshmallows on sticks), and binoculars. The small tent measures 31.5 by 31.5 by 33.5 inches. They should be aware that camping will never be as simple outside. The following items are available for purchase: Mitcien Kids Camping Play Set, $31.43 (originally $42.99); Amazon
Easy Playhouse Blank Castle
When compared to a typical cardboard box play environment, what all of those tents lack is a means for children to truly personalize their play space and make it their own. A less expensive approach is to paint a blank canvas with your favorite miniature graffiti artists on this premade cardboard castle. Allow them to run riot with those markers (or paints, if you don’t mind the mess) while you supervise.
When you need to store it flat, you can still fold it up and store it that way. After it has been assembled, it measures 32 inches in length by 32 inches in width and 43 1/2 inches in height. To purchase, go to Amazon.com and search for “Easy Playhouse Blank Castle.”
