So, upon further review, the mistake that Randakk’s parts picker made was to include two (2) air cutoff valve rebuild kits for the GL1100 (Randakk p/n 100-1253) and two (2) air cutoff valve rebuild kits for the GL1000 (Randakk p/n 100-1250).

The first side (I did the Right Side first) took a bit of coaxingA trick that I was taught, years ago, was to take a new shock, put a ratchet strap around it (the long way), then put some weight on it to compress it an inch or so.
