Making Use of Your Pod for the Very First Time. A Little Practicing Can Go a Long Way.
- Remove the Pod tent from its carry bag and set it aside. Holding the tent with both hands outstretched at arm’s length is the proper technique. Allowing the tent to untwist until it bursts open with one hand is a good idea. Unzip one or more panels, then unfold the side panels to reveal the inside. To fully open the tent, pull out the panels on the sides. Place the tent in a vertical position (as if it were standing up)
- Take hold of the tent’s front and back sides. Using your hands, shake vigorously for 3 seconds.
Congrats! You’ve perfected the art of opening your WeatherPod®. You’re now prepared to take pleasure in it! Folding Your Pod is as simple as counting to three.
- Place the Pod on its back so that it is resting flat on the ground with the front facing up, and then flip it over. Fold one side of the paper flat, then the other side. Both panels should be perfectly flat when assembled. Check to see that the wires are likewise flat (not twisted). To flatten the wires, step on them. Roof and floor panels should be tucked in. Place the Pod on its back so that the rear of the Pod is pointing toward you. The most important step in folding is carefully curling your Pod. Firmly curl the Pod forward halfway along the length of the table. Once you’ve completely coiled (rolled) the Pod under, grab hold of the right side of the Pod and push it toward the centre. Repeat this process until the top wire is facing toward your shins. Grab the left edge of the Pod and press it against the top of the Pod to form it into a flat circle. I don’t have the financial means to travel to warmer climes, but I do have a beautiful balcony to enjoy. I enjoy sitting outside, but the window for doing so in Wisconsin is quite limited.
That is no longer the case! Even though the temperature outside was 27 degrees (and it was sunny), my balcony was 41 degrees and the temperature inside my pod was 82 degrees! I spent the most of the day reading and listening to music while sitting in my bare feet. I’m head over heels in love.

If you believe the reviews, you will believe that this product is genuine. This was delivered to me. When I took it out of the bag, I realized I’d been deceived right away. When I first put it together, it sagged to the right.
- The left side buckled as I tried to keep it straight.
- Because it is so lightweight, even a slight breeze will push the walls against you while you are seated.
- This is simply a very inexpensive product that is being marketed for far more than it should be.
- It’s a good concept, however I believe that not enough product testing was done.

I was extremely grateful that the zipper had been upgraded.
Because it has a zipper pull, this newer model is significantly easier to use than the previous model.
We haven’t figured out how to link them together yet.
Even though I had the front portion of the jacket unzipped, it kept attempting to collapse on me.
It was much more stable after I zip-tied it shut.

In preparation for the arrival of cooler weather this weekend, we purchased a second one for my husband.
On the model I purchased a year ago, the zipper is difficult to close completely.
Both pods are the XL size, and they fit perfectly next to each other in the same space.
As a result of the strong winds we had today, they perform best when completely zip-locked.
The wind speed was between 15-20 mph.
As a result of being on concrete, we were unable to secure them, but they are completely immobile when you’re in the house.
When the sun shines through the windows, it becomes quite warm in there.

My first pod featured zippers on the side doors that totally opened them up.
When I need the appropriate door to open, this is not a practical solution.

However, while the base is a bit smaller, the sides do not curve inward as you travel higher, allowing it to maintain the same amount of “elbow space.” The Original pod includes a front entrance as well as side windows on both sides.
I use it as a tent for hiking since it is lightweight, easy to set up, and quick to take down.
Even when it’s pouring, I can still sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Also I use it for my nephews’ sporting events. Thanks to our insta pod, we are now prepared to go to the baseball game! This is the pinnacle of social distance.
